Most recently I saw a recall of lead baby bibs (not unlike the one my dentist puts on me before shooting "harmless" x-rays). Does anyone recall "Creepy Crawlers", "Creeple People", "Fright Factory" etc.? It seems to me that the mold trays for those toys were all made out of lead, solid lead. Am I mistaken? Does that explain my dementia?

I remember that one of my hot plates wouldn't heat up at all, so I put one of the metal trays full of goop on another hot plate that wasn't part of the set. I turned my back on it for a minute or two and the entire mold melted. Could it have been zinc? Definately NOT steel.
